One use case
We pick one workflow by value, data and risk, and describe it well enough to build a first working part.
What you walk away with.
- A one-page brief for the chosen use case: the workflow, the documents and systems involved, what the agent does alone and where it asks.
- A rough effort estimate for a first working part, the proof of concept (PoC).
- A proposal for the next step that you can review in your own time.
Who should be in the room.
Someone who makes the call, and the people who run the workflow every day. If systems need connecting, someone from IT helps.
No preparation needed. A short list of the workflows that take the most time is useful.
Funding for your digitalisation project in Vienna.
A follow-on digitalisation project may qualify for the Vienna Business Agency’s Digitalisation funding programme. It supports the development and introduction of digital solutions, including related consulting and training.
- Up to 50% of eligible project costs, capped at EUR 50,000 in funding.
- Minimum project size: EUR 10,000. For SMEs with a business location in Vienna for at least one year.
- Submit a complete application before the funded project starts. Next submission deadline: 31 December 2026.
The workshop alone is below the minimum project size. Ask the Vienna Business Agency whether it could be eligible as part of a larger project before commissioning it. Funding is awarded through a competitive jury process.

Is the workshop only available in Vienna?
ex-nihilo is based in Vienna. We come to your company anywhere in Austria. Travel is included in the agreed fixed price.
How should we prepare for the workshop?
A short list of time-consuming workflows helps. Include the people who do the work each day and someone who can make decisions. IT should take part when systems need connecting.
What happens after the workshop?
You can review the brief and proposed next step in your own time. If you commission a first working part as a proof of concept (PoC), we credit the workshop fee. Scope and schedule are agreed in the implementation offer.
